Origin-destination pages can be useful when the route reflects a real service with distinct planning information. They become thin when the only difference is swapping city or state names.
1. Prioritize routes the company actually serves regularly and can support operationally.
2. Explain route-specific logistics such as transit expectations, scheduling, storage, packing, vehicle transport, regulations, seasonality, and delivery models when relevant.
3. Add real proof: completed moves, customer stories, photos, service areas, and operational details.
4. Keep broader long-distance moving pages as hubs and link to important route pages contextually.
5. Avoid generating every possible state combination unless there is enough useful information to distinguish them.
6. Track leads and booked moves by route so content expansion follows business reality.
A route page should help someone plan that move. If the page only exists to capture “[origin] to [destination] movers,” it is unlikely to provide durable value.
