CMSPost Inc. (“CMSPost,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides software tools that help agencies and businesses manage client workspaces, website content, SEO pages, blog content, email marketing, communications, social publishing, reviews, reputation, licensing, and partner workflows.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our website, platform, and connected services.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, company name, website URL, account and license information, support communications, client project details, and content you create or manage inside CMSPost.

Partner and reseller records may include application information, referral codes, attribution events, referred accounts, commission activity, payout status, notification preferences, and a Stripe connected-account identifier. Stripe collects and processes sensitive bank, identity, and tax information used for payout onboarding; CMSPost does not intentionally store bank-account numbers, routing numbers, Social Security numbers, or taxpayer identification numbers in the Partner Portal.

If you connect a third-party service such as LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Meta, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, an email provider, or another publishing service, the applicable CMSPost installation may store authorization tokens, account identifiers, selected destinations, and activity needed to connect, display, schedule, publish, send, synchronize, or report on the feature you authorized.

We may also collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and usage activity to help improve platform performance and security.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide and improve CMSPost, manage accounts and licenses, support client-isolated content and email-marketing workflows, connect authorized third-party services, administer referrals and commissions, coordinate Stripe payouts, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, protect platform security, and communicate verification codes and important account or service updates.

We do not sell personal information.

Third-Party Services

CMSPost may use or connect with service providers such as Stripe for billing and partner payouts; Postmark or another configured provider for transactional email and verification codes; hosting and security providers; analytics services; and LinkedIn, Google, Meta, X, YouTube, Pinterest, Reddit, and other authorized publishing or communications services. Their handling of information is governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies.

CMSPost only requests access needed to provide the features you choose to use.

Data Storage and Security

CMSPost is designed as downloadable, self-hosted agency software. Client workspace content, contacts, marketing audiences, connected-account credentials, and activity may be stored within the agency-controlled installation rather than a central CMSPost database. The agency operating that installation is responsible for its hosting environment, user access, backups, retention settings, notices, and lawful handling of its clients' data.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

OAuth tokens and connected-account data are intended only for authorized platform functions, such as account connection, content publishing, scheduling, synchronization, email delivery, and related reporting. Two-step verification codes are time-limited and should not be stored in plaintext in the user record.

Data Sharing

We may disclose information to processors and connected providers only as reasonably necessary to operate CMSPost, complete a requested transaction or connection, deliver communications, administer the partner program, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, or prevent abuse. We may also disclose information in connection with a corporate transaction where permitted by law.

We do not sell user data to advertisers.

Your Choices

You may disconnect third-party accounts, update notification preferences, request account corrections, or contact us about access to or deletion of certain information associated with your CMSPost account, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, backup, and recordkeeping requirements. Marketing-email recipients may use the provided unsubscribe method where applicable.

Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain security and business records, administer licenses and partner activity, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. Agencies control retention for data held only in their self-hosted installations, subject to their own obligations and backups.

Children's Privacy

CMSPost is a business platform and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the public CMSPost service.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy prospectively. Material changes may be presented on the website, through an account portal, or by email, and the effective date above will be revised.
